'A Friend In The Night' Continues Festival Run + Hollywood Field Trip + SPA Travel Grant

A Friend In The Night continues its successful festival run, being selected to screen at the Oz International Film Festival on 26th Nov at the Alex Theatre in Melbourne. It has also been selected to screen online at the prestigious Sydney Lift-Off Film Festival from the 19th November. Our most recent short Bus Trip has also been selected to screen at the People of Passion International Film Festival in Melbourne early next year.

Sebastian Chan is currently abroad in L.A as part of the Focus on Ability Festival grand prize. He has been able to take advantage of amazing opportunities such as attending the Australians In Film Gala Dinner, attending a taping of CBS' hit show The Neighborhood, attend Universal Studios and the Media Access Awards, meet with the festival judges and attend the American Film Market. During his four weeks in L.A, he has also had the opportunity to take part in the Hollywood Field Trip which aims to introduce filmmakers from outside the U.S to crucial contacts within Hollywood. Some of the meetings have included places such as Paradigm Talent Agency, HBO and Netflix.

Finally, Sebastian has also received a travel grant from Screen Canberra to attend the 2018 Screen Forever conference in Melbourne in the last week of November. He will be taking a number of projects to pitch with the aim of producing local content in Canberra.
