Belco Flicks, CIFF & Discovery Channel

The last few weeks have been interspersed with editing video assignments, reading scripts and development on new projects. Here is a quick look at some of the events Vorfreude Pictures was lucky enough to take part in.

Railroad Australia - Discovery Channel

Earlier this month I was privileged enough to take part in this great TV series as a casting producer. My role involved talking to locomotive enthusiasts at a rally in Goulburn and identifying potential characters for the next season. Not only was it a great opportunity to exercise my interviewing skills I also learnt a lot about locomotives!

Cybo at Belco Flicks

Cybo was selected to screen in the special return of Belco Flick at the Belconnen Community Centre. Celebrating 50 years of the suburb, the screening consisted of locally made works from Belco filmmakers. It received a warm reception from a very enthusiastic audience and we hope to see the event's return soon.

Fashfest Films Screen at Canberra International Film Festival

Two short films Vorfreude Pictures produced for the Fashfest fashion festival, When I Grow Up and The Chosen, were screened at the 20th Canberra International Film Festival as part of the official selection. Both films were screened before a feature film that had similar themes. More info to come on these short films soon!
